Hi Ladies Iโm Kirsty Wilson, Iโm 42 & I joined Jiggly Joggers in sept 2019 & like everyone didnโt think I could run 5 minutes never mind 5k๐ I grew up in Craigend in the East end & now live in Rutherglen with my husband Tony. I work in a dental practice & have worked in dentistry since leaving school.
Some Jiggles know my story & MY WHY I started running but hereโs a little update...
My husband & I struggled to have a family for 5 years & suffered the devastating loss of 4 babies. It was a very stressful time. We were about to embark on another round of IVF when Jiggly Joggers came into my life & I am glad it did. This time round I ran my way to IVF ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ I had a focus, a goal & I was healthier. We had our 1st part of treatment & all was going great then covid hit which was another blow for us as our life was put on hold once again. Running AGAIN got me through lockdown. We got to restart our treatment again in July & now delighted to say I am going to be a Mum & baby Wilson is due June 2021 ๐ฅฐ
The reason I chose to share my story originally with the Jiggles was to spread awareness in infertility & baby loss but my message now is what ever is going on in your life NEVER GIVE UP!
