Hi everyone, I am Colette one of the original Jigglys from 2018! I had a look back on my Jiggly Journey of photographs, I do love a pic and a woohoo 💕!!!Which highlighted to me how far I have come and what I have achieved but also how much the Jigglys have grown!
I live with my partner William , and have been together for 15 years. We have a beautiful daughter Poppy who is 7 years old. She is my biggest fan and follows us ( Jiggly Joggers)on youtube!! 😍 I work full time in a nursery within a local council and I am currently studying for my BA in childhood practice!! I like to keep busy lol!! 🙃 Running is my “me time” especially this past year!
I started couch to 5k just to try something new but I didn’t think I would stick it! The thought of having a red face and being all sweaty wasn’t something I was keen on! But during the first few weeks I got to know the other Jigglys and started to actually enjoy running! I became more confident and proud to achieve a 5k! By 2019 I was onto the next challenge I done my first 10k! I watched and cheered at the half marathon! This gave me such a buzz and it was the first time I had ever thought about signing up!!!A few gins later and I signed up for some 10k events and half marathons for 2020!!
I’ve started 2021 with positive vibes as always and look forward to carrying out my role as a jog leader!! 🏃🏼♀️💕
Jiggly Joggers is part of my life now and I wouldn’t change it for anything! I love being part of a group that is friendly, welcoming and supportive!! I have met some amazing people!
