Maw Jigglyā€™s Marathon Musings šŸ’ž


Good morning folks, it been a while šŸ’ž


The last time I wrote I had go a PB for my 5K and since then I have also managed a 10K PBā€¦ā€¦ā€¦.delighted since I averaged a 90 minute 10K! All the hard work is slowly starting to pay off!


Itā€™s 3 more sleeps until our 32 week marathon training plan kicks off and I wonā€™t lie it terrifies and excites me in equal measure!


Unfortunately I am not at the level or weight I had hoped to be heading into it, I got covid then a frozen shoulder so to be honest the last 2 months have been pretty miserable! I thought I had finally got a hold on my emotional eating but I managed to eat my way through half a stone of feelings šŸ™ˆšŸ™ˆ


I missed Run the Blades, GNR and Scottish 10k and for the first time I was ready to go and confident in all I had done so that was a real bummer šŸ„²


However I can keep on a downer and blame covid for everything (I will be doing that for a while šŸ¤£) or I can dust off and start again!


Well I need to get Marathon ready so dusting off it is šŸ˜¬šŸ˜€šŸ˜€


I have got a book on emotional eating and combatting it, my eating has been pretty good this week!

My shoulder is well enough to be able to run, wonā€™t be managing any classes for a while but as long as I get the miles in at this point I will be happy šŸ„°


So brace yourself to come along on this journey with meā€¦ā€¦ā€¦..I canā€™t imagine itā€™s going to be pretty but it is going to beā€¦ā€¦ā€¦..eek!
