Good morning folks, it been a while 💞
The last time I wrote I had go a PB for my 5K and since then I have also managed a 10K PB……….delighted since I averaged a 90 minute 10K! All the hard work is slowly starting to pay off!
It’s 3 more sleeps until our 32 week marathon training plan kicks off and I won’t lie it terrifies and excites me in equal measure!
Unfortunately I am not at the level or weight I had hoped to be heading into it, I got covid then a frozen shoulder so to be honest the last 2 months have been pretty miserable! I thought I had finally got a hold on my emotional eating but I managed to eat my way through half a stone of feelings 🙈🙈
I missed Run the Blades, GNR and Scottish 10k and for the first time I was ready to go and confident in all I had done so that was a real bummer 🥲
However I can keep on a downer and blame covid for everything (I will be doing that for a while 🤣) or I can dust off and start again!
Well I need to get Marathon ready so dusting off it is 😬😀😀
I have got a book on emotional eating and combatting it, my eating has been pretty good this week!
My shoulder is well enough to be able to run, won’t be managing any classes for a while but as long as I get the miles in at this point I will be happy 🥰
So brace yourself to come along on this journey with me………..I can’t imagine it’s going to be pretty but it is going to be………..eek!
