Hi Everyone, I am Elaine and I am 37 years old.
My journey with the Jigglies began in January when I embarked on the virtual C25K. Always a walker, covering long distances, running was something I didn't think I would be capable of or stick at but here I am 10 weeks later volunteering to support within groups. I initially joined the group expecting to take part in group runs however COVID19 had other plans for us. Determind to still give it a go I stuck around covering solo runs (trying to remember the selfies 🤳) and then budding up. Everyone within the group made me feel so welcome and the level of support, encouragement and words of advice has been amazing. It truly is a great group to be part of. Outside of my new hobbie - (running!) I have recently changed job roles/career paths. The last few years saw me travel back and fourth down south each week as a Business Intelligence Manager. It is great to be back home, having time for the group and changing job roles. My new job role enables me to see young people meet their infinite potential as they embark into the world of work. For anyone considering joining the group I would definitely encourage it. The plans work and everyone works as a team, no one is left behind. Each and everyone of the ladies supports and encourages each other.
Best decision I have made in a while to join and I am truly glad I did. I am proud of my achievements to date and of those who joined the block with me.
